Got a new head a couple of weeks ago. It’s a MusicMan HD65 and it sounds killer!

Set my buddy up for a killer trade: his doofy little Peavey Bandit for this Music Man Seventy Five.

Some stuff that’s off the beaten path and reasonably affordable:
Univox U-1011 (or 1086 or 1226) - looking into one of these for myself
RedBear MKE 60 (or 120) - Marshall clones made in Russia by Gibson
Traynor YBA-1 (or 1A) - “poor man’s plexi,” Canada’s best-kept secret
Laney Klipp - Sabbath tone for days, exceedingly hard to find
Earth Sound Research G2000 - solid state I think but rad, rare.
Music Man HD130 - kinda Fendery, but not as dark to my ear
Other than that, you could go for something boutique/handmade, but that’ll cost you over $1000 for sure. I would consider paying good money for a Dwarfcraft Love Buzz - but not anytime soon certainly.
